Todmorden Folk Festival 2018

On 5th May 2018 our very own Music for the Many inter-school choir raised the roof of Todmorden’s Market Hall with a very special pop-up performance.  Saturday shoppers were treated to the celestial sounds of children singing songs from many cultures,  from the market’s 1st story, overhead gantry.  The children looked and sounded like a heavenly host, sparkling in the sunshine.

The choir were then shepherded over to the Methodist Church for a second concert performance as part of the official Todmorden Folk Festival programme, supporting the nationally renowned, Pilgrims Way.

One member of the audience wrote to tell us how they felt about it;
